Harp and Story

May 8

Years ago Steve and I were hiking in the Sierra Nevada’s and I tripped and fell off the side of the mountain. I injured my right knee in the fall and it was only a miracle of YHVH’s loving Grace that got me off that mountain! Since then, if I am considerate of my activity level, my knee doesn’t give me any grief so, I am saying all this to tell you about our bike ride along the Tanglefoot Trail. We biked 14 miles before my knee told me I had exercised it enough for the day — which is great since our last bike ride in Georgia was only 8 miles!

We are practicing living in the moment or NOW. What does YHVH want me to see, hear, smell, feel, experience right now? I am reminded of the story I tell titled, “A Boy’s Lunch” where Yashua reminds the people gathered on that mountainside, Mat 6:34 “So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Enjoy the pictures of our bike ride on the Tanglefoot Trail. If I could post with this blog the sweet, honey scent of the white lilac-like wild flowers, or the bright red of cardinals and the orange butterflies that flew by our side as we pedaled along, or the sound of rushing water pouring from a culvert into the creek, or the smell of dust kicked up from the tractors preparing the fields for planting, or the heat of the sun on our backs and the refreshing breeze in our faces, or the insects that collided against our clothes as we biked along  I would, but I can’t, so please add these elements from your own imagination!

Practice living in the moment of NOW. Trust YHVH to manage your day. It’s amazing how much stress this exercise alleviates!

Blessings for your journey!
