It was wonderful being in Jerusalem again!
On our first trip to Israel in 2002 we stayed in an apartment in Gilo, near Bethlehem- just outside of Jerusalem. From our bedroom window we had a fantastic view of the Old City. The second day of our stay we had walked around the Old City walls and visited the City of David and then we went back to the apartment for an afternoon nap. I woke up during my nap and sitting up in bed, the first thing I saw was the Old City of Jerusalem shining brilliant, sparkly white. I gazed at that beautiful sight for some minutes before sleep overcame me again. When I awoke later all I could think about was that beautiful sight of Jerusalem. The next day I made sure I was in the bedroom at the same time to see that beautiful display again, but that time and every time since it has only been the familiar dull yellow gold of what is called Jerusalem stone, which is beautiful in its own right, but not the beautiful appearance of a bride that I saw the first time. For what I had seen made me think of the scripture in Revelation 21:2 of the New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
That picture of Jerusalem, I believe The Father gave me; His gift to me to cherish. And cherish it I do; I love Jerusalem! It is my most favorite city in the whole world and I have been to several other world-class cities. None of them compare with Jerusalem! Someday, and I believe it isn’t in the too far distant future, Y’Shua is going to come back to this planet as the conquering King. He is going to descend on the Mount of Olives in like manner as He ascended 2000 years previous, and the mountain will split in two making a great valley and YHVH my Elohim shall come, and all the holy ones with Him, Zechariah 14:5. He is going to set up His kingdom in Jerusalem where scripture says He will rule with a rod of iron for a thousand years. The Master Torah Teacher is going to teach us Torah from Jerusalem! Hallelujah!!! I can’t wait for that day – Even so come Master Y’Shua!
All you who love her, pray for the SHALOM (the Power that destroys the authority that creates chaos) of Jerusalem. Psalm 122
