Our Mission
Shirley and Steve Rees

The Bible has been relegated to dry and dusty irrelevancy and/or become a fluid document shifting to meet the current cultural norms.

The collapse of Biblical moral values, the disintegration of the family unit, and the loss of integrity are all products of a society in which the Word of God has ceased being a standard for life.

Harp and Story — The Peregrinnatti, our mission is to bring Scripture to life and relevancy. Music is what feelings sound like. The harp expresses the emotion of the story planting life truths deep in the spirit.

Our prayer is that the truths we express in music and story telling grow and produce much good fruit to the Glory of the Kingdom of YHVH.

What People Are Saying About “A Child Is Born”

I grew up in a very boring church. I actually met JESUS when I was six years old, so my impressions of His birth, as told by Shirley Rees, are colored by the intensity of that experience and its heavenly dimensions, as the Holy Spirit continues to reveal them. The simplicity of the birth of JESUS together with the mystery of redemption as it begins to unfold in the story, are brought to life by the artist’s drawings. The outdoor settings where the shepherds lived, the reason for the keeping of the flocks, and the personalities of the shepherds, interact effectively to make the reader see them as individuals and wonder about their excitement. I believe the story will lead the listener and maybe the reader as well, to a desire to know more about who this YESHUA, better known as JESUS, actually is in the reality of the human heart.

It is an intelligent and stunning telling of this great event that is consistent with the first century setting. The pictures are vivid and captivating. They make the story pop to life, almost as if the reader is present in the story. My children love the pictures and adults are challenged by the epilogue of further thoughts.

I love picture books but am very particular with any I choose to purchase. I love a captivating story with beautiful illustrations to support it. This book has both. I really appreciate the historical information at the end also. This book will be read year-round and often in our home.

I loved this version of this very precious story. Because the ordinary shepherds going about their ordinary jobs & their varied reactions to this astounding event made it come so alive to me. The illustrations helped also. The picture of the young shepherd peeking through his fingers to make sure the angel was real was great. Many treasured moments captured in this story that brought it to life for me. I will be buying more for the grandchildren!
